For much of my professional life I worked in media. Yet for over 20 years, my true passion has been golf — a passion that has shaped not only how I travel, but how I experience the world. That passion has been rewarded with a national championship title and several other memorable tournament victories. But trophies aside, golf has given me something far more valuable: access to some of the most extraordinary courses on the planet and friendships forged through unforgettable rounds. I have been fortunate to tee it up at icons such as the Old Course at St Andrews and Pebble Beach in California, but one of the most memorable rounds of my life came on the dramatic cliffs of Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand. Still, if there is one destination that truly owns my heart, it is Ireland. I have played more than 35 different Irish courses, and I firmly believe that nothing in golf matches the magic of true Irish links. Organising golf trips to exclusive destinations has become a natural extension of this journey, allowing me to share these experiences with like-minded golfers who value authenticity over luxury — and soul over score. Keeping this blog is simply the next logical step.
